ZCCLC Program Goals
The goal of the Extended-Day Program is to provide tutorial assistance to students in each core academic area as well as enrichment activities that will enhance your child’s education. All work in this program is offered so that each student can be more successful in the regular academic program.

21st Century Community Learning Centers were created by Title IV, Part B, of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, Public law 107-110.

The purpose of the ZCCLC is to provide opportunities for academic enrichment, including tutorial services to help students meet state academic achievements standards in core subjects such as reading and mathematics.

Another purpose of ZCCLC is to offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students.

Zion Chapel Community Learning Center (ZCCLC) has been in operation since 2004. We serve kindergarten through eighth grade. We employ trained teachers and aides to work with children in small groups and individually to strengthen their instructional capabilities.
